This is the third year the Finley Sisters planned a vacation together. A cruise was Cindi's recommendation and she did most of the planning since she and Daryl had been on a cruise before. Jeannie and John's wedding made this vacation a very special one. Kelly & Kent also joined the group and everyone had a great time.

The first stop was Miami Florida. We all arrived the day before the cruise was to begin and stayed in the same hotel. Plans had been made for a minister to join us and unite Jeannie and John in marriage. After saying the vows, presenting each other with rings, sealing it with a kiss, and signing the papers there were gifts to open that included a clock, a photo album among other things. There was one gift that John especially liked. Oh yeah, and Bob stood in as flower girl. The reception was a big success and John got advice from some veterans.

The Trip to Nassau was wonderful. There was more food that you can imagine and we all indulged several times per day. Bob was usually the first one in the breakfast line. Evening meals were especially good with several courses and excellent service. Our waiters Tumie and Kais made every meal excellent and We even danced the Macarena and Bill really cut the rug. There were times when the food was presented as carvings such as a watermelon eagle, a cheese woman and ship, a pig, a woman's face, and bouquets of flowers.

While in Nassau Cindi & Daryl visited the new luxury hotel Atlantis on Paradise Island. The taxi ride over the the island was unique to say the least with live entertainment. The hotel was beautiful with magnificent columns, a crystal centerpiece, a room sized aquarium, a huge glass clock, and a chair that dwarfed even the biggest man.

The whole group took a boat trip and some of us enjoyed snorkeling.

The ship made an afternoon stop at a private island (Coco Cay) for a picnic, beach combing, and more snorkeling. The island was beautiful and everyone got their photo taken.

Key West was the last stop before returning to Miami. Most of the group went on a bus ride through Coral Gables and neighboring streets including the Art Deco area with stops at some unique gift shops. Cindi got her picture taken with one of the locals.
